Because currently in the North-Eat we have quite a bit of snow, it’s stopped but is still lying. If you work as a steward or for a football ground in general I’d like to know as tomorrow is the big Tyne-Tees derby and I’m quite excited.

Well if leaves on the tracks cause their rail system to go kerflooey and a dusting of the white powder (what we Canadians call frost) sends everyone scurrying for the last loaf of bread, then I would think there is a good chance the game will be called off.
Seriously though, I should think that a bit of snow on the the ground would be a GOOD thing for the English Football. Makes a much softer landing with the diving. LOL
And just to let all soccer (football) fans know, we Canadians would NEVER cancel an ice hockey game because of snow. LOL
conditions have to be bad enough for either the pitch to get ruined serverly (holes, grass cut off) or players get possible serious injuries from slipping etc.
