It is something that you have to really want and you have to have exceptional talent because the cost for the club is very high and the competition for the 20 spaces is enormous. Have your soccer coach get in touch with some of the teams that you are most interested in and see if they have any scout coming to your area. If not see if you can arrange to them for a tryout. Normally by the age of 14 if you stand out a team will have already found you they found my son at 8 years of age and by 9 years of age he had already had two offers for two of the three largest teams in our country. Don't wait do everything you can to get the clubs to see you because in a year or so it will be much harder to get them to see you. I'm pretty sure that's the procedure. Well you should obviously talk to your parents because they'll be funding everything for you.
